Position Summary
Parker Hannifin is currently seeking skilled CNC machinists to join our team at the Commercial Flight Controls Division facility in Ogden, UT. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machines and producing precision parts. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Wage, Schedule, & Benefits
Wage: $20 - $40 an hour, DOE
Benefits include:
o Benefits starting day one
o $10K tuition reimbursement per year
o Shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts
o 401(k) vested day 1 with 5% company match
o Onsite cafeteria
2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 3pm to 1:30am)
Job Duties
Perform simple set ups and repetitive machine operations (including reworking parts) such as cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reaming parts where the materials, tooling, and sequence of operations have been pre-planned and established
Perform minor machine adjustments and report improper functioning of machines for correction
Inspect machined parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments, gauges, and comparators
Observe all safety rules, company policies, and procedures
Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Qualifications
2+ years of general or related machining experience
Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions
General working knowledge of machine shop mathematics
Effective written and verbal communication
Ability to use a computer and relevant software
High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time
Manual dexterity and use of hands to operate machinery
Demonstrate vision ability to look up close at items
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
