ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES2nd Shift- Standard Hours 2pm-10pmSet-up and operate conventional, special-purpose machines to fabricate tooling components; fit and assemble these components into production tooling and fixtures.Set-up and operate automatic and manual machining equipment for the manufacturing and repair of injection moldsRepair damaged molds/dies, springs and punchesPerform corrective, preventive maintenanceDesign and build gauges to check accuracy of partsDesign and build jigs and fixtures as neededPerform in-press troubleshootingPerform mold/die set-up proceduresResolve die performance issuesPerform correct mold/die changeoversPerform part inspection per QA guidelinesWhen required, produce parts, at times with few or no prints as a repair functionManufacture prototype parts from engineering printsMaintain safe and clean working environmentComply with company procedures, rules, and regulationsAll other duties as assigned by SupervisionQUALIFICATIONS Required: High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years experience as tool & die maker, injection mold making &/or associated workIn-Depth knowledge of machining tools and their useAbility to read and interpret blueprints/design schematicsAbility to lift heavy objects and operate large machineryExperience with quality control analysisStrong verbal and oral communication skillsAbility to work in a strong safety-focused environmentAbility to work any shift and overtime as requiredPreferred: Relevant mold maker / tool and die maker certificationsProven problem-solving & critical thinking skillsWorking knowledge of high tonnage injection molding machinesDo you have any questions?
