Job Summary Job Description The primary responsibility of the CNC Programmer is to ensure that job orders are properly and safely fabricated. Responsibilities & Duties: Program daily production orders. Ensure CNC machines are properly utilized through optimizing programs and daily production runs. Ensure all orders or programs are realized in a timely manner. Collaborate with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering departments to revise prints or report discrepancies; coordinate daily with operators and supervisors to ensure sufficient programs are available to fully utilize time and equipment. Design and follow process control plans, routings, and work instructions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 2-4 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field. Ability to comprehend and create routings, bill of materials, work instructions, and check sheets. Ability to program CNC equipment such as Mill, Turret, and Lathe using Unigraphics, and troubleshoot programming on machinery. Experience with 3-D modeling (Unigraphics, Mastercam). Good analytical problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and team-oriented. Ability to adapt to change and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
