Job DescriptionWe have immediate openings for a Welder to join our Night Shift operations at our plant in Accokeek, Maryland. This role is essential for the operation of processing equipment at our quarry and typically requires working from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime and shift adjustments based on business needs. In this position, you will be responsible for performing welding repairs on various quarry equipment, including crushers and conveyors, to ensure they operate efficiently. You will also fabricate metal components based on technical specifications, weld and re-weld parts using various techniques, and operate cutting tools to prepare and finish metal pieces. Additionally, you will inspect your welds for quality and safety compliance, adhere to all safety protocols, and maintain your welding tools and equipment. Collaboration with maintenance and operations teams will be crucial to address equipment issues and reduce downtime effectively.Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those who are AWS Certified Welders.
