Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Full-Time or Part-TimeWho Should Apply:Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our growing physical therapy team in conjunction with our thriving orthopedic surgery practice. We believe in a compassionate, personalized approach that empowers patients to take charge of their recovery.This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact-particularly in expanding physical therapy access for underserved populations-by joining a collaborative team dedicated to both clinical excellence and health equity.Job Type:Full-Time (Preferred)Part-Time (Available)Key Responsibilities:Deliver physical therapy services under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, in alignment with state regulations and scope of practice.Execute day-to-day patient care tasks and treatment plans as assigned.Document and report patient progress, concerns, or changes to the Physical Therapist and, when appropriate, to referring physicians.Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards (federal, state, and local).Participate in interdisciplinary care coordination to ensure seamless, high-quality care.Maintain accurate records in accordance with clinical and administrative standards.Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education.Support the mission of expanding equitable, community-based orthopedic and rehabilitation care.Perform other duties as assigned.Schedule:Monday through FridayTwo evenings per week required (until 6:30 PM)Qualifications:Education:Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (preferred)Experience:Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed PTA (preferred)Language:Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plusLicensure:Current or pending Illinois Physical Therapy Assistant License (required)Benefits:401(k) plan with company matchingContinuing education reimbursementHealth, dental, and life insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible scheduling optionsPaid time off (PTO)Opportunities for career advancement within a growing organizationWhy Join Genesis?At Genesis Ortho, you'll be part of a team that values compassion, collaboration, and innovation.
