Additionally, neuro nurse practitioners are on hand to boost your productivity, alleviate burnout, and enhance the quality of care you deliver. Duties and responsibilities:The new neurologist will manage a maximum of 15 patients per day, ensuring ample time for quality care with up to 45 minutes allocated per patient. Perform neurological exams to diagnose conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans. Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests: EMGs required; EEGs desired but not necessary. Prescribe medication and evaluate its effectiveness. Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions and management strategies. Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure holistic care. RequirementsMinimum qualifications: Graduation from an accredited medical school Board Certification in Neurology with EMG experience. Neurophysiology/Neuromuscular Fellowship preferred, but not necessary. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are warmly welcomed, although it's not a requirement. New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, and we also invite physicians currently completing their fellowship to consider this opportunity. Active and unrestricted Florida medical license or willingness to obtain one.
