Job Title: CNC Machine Operator - Schechtl (12-Hour Shifts: Days and Nights) Job Summary: The CNC Machine Operator - Schechtl is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Schechtl CNC folding and bending machines to produce precise sheet metal components with accuracy and efficiency. Flexibility to work overnight shifts is required to meet production needs. Core Responsibilities: Machine Setup: Configure the Schechtl machine by installing the correct bending tools and setting parameters, such as bending angles and material thickness, according to project requirements.Programming and Operation: Load and adjust CNC programs, interpreting technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and blueprints to ensure each bend and fold meets precise specifications.Material Handling: Safely load and secure sheet metal, making necessary adjustments to ensure accurate alignment, minimal waste, and effective use of material.Quality Control: Perform quality checks during and after bending to ensure that tolerances and specifications are met. Apply creativity to problem-solving and innovation to improve processes.Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting the machine, to prevent downtime and maintain optimal performance.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine issues, such as misalignment or tool wear, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and precision.Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and contribute to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
