CNC Machinist - Set up, Operator, Programmer - Mill Turn•Set up and operate CNC Mill Turn with little to no supervision.•Support manufacturing engineers as directed in daily production, projects, and special assignments.•Ability to program using Gibbs Cam Software, or equivalent. Training available if needed.•Assist with planning and establishing sequences of operations to machine, fabricate, and assemble parts or products for efficient utilization of Company resources in the manufacturing operations.•Assist with estimating production costs, cost-saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control.•Assist engineers with drafting and designing the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools, computer programs, etc.•Coordinate and implement quality objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.•Design tools, gauges, and fixtures for production.•Assist engineers with requisitioning tooling, repairing parts, and supplies.•Work directly with engineers in the planning and execution of insourcing projects.•Assist with cost-saving methods.Requirements:•Three (3) to five (5) years prior successful experience operating CNC Mill Turn.•CNC programming skills.•Must have extensive experience with one or more of the following CNC machines: Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, and/or Citizen.•Must have experience machining one or more of the following materials: nickel-based stainless-steel alloys (Inconel, Monel, etc.), Cooper, Aluminum, and/or Titanium•Must be able to read and utilize the following measuring instruments: 6 to 12" scale, vernier calipers, comparator, pin gauge, thread gauges, and micrometer. (All Sites)•Must be able to read blueprints, bills of materials, and part specifications. (All Sites)•Must understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets.•Must be able to read, write, and perform simple to moderate mathematical calculations.•Skill and ability to operate machines precisely with high degree of attention to make quality products.
