The Medical Center offers a full range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and laboratory and imaging services in the Niagara Falls, NY campus as well as its outpatient facilities.AwardsContact us for more information.Case AssignmentsGeneral and vascular surgery, gastrointestinal and colorectal cases, orthopedic, neurology & spine, gynecology, urology, and plastics.ShiftsDuring the 26 weeks on, the MD will:Provide weekday OR coverage until approximately 3-5PMProvide overnight weeknight & weekend beeper call for any OB or OR cases that emerge overnight. RequirementsResponsibilitiesAssist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia DepartmentResponsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical proceduresPre-anesthesia assessmentObtains and/or verifies patient consentDiscuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesiaMonitoring of the patient's physiological conditionPerformance of clinical intervention as neededRequirementsM.D./D.O.
