Job DescriptionPosition Summary: We are actively hiring a Mold Setup Technician for a full-time 3rd shift assignment at a manufacturing facility in Noblesville, Indiana. This role is temporary and is expected to continue through September or early October, as the company transitions production to another state. The technician will be responsible for setting up and pulling molds from injection molding machines and ensuring machines are configured and operating to meet quality and production standards. This is a great opportunity for a dependable individual with injection molding experience who is looking for steady work over the next few months. Key Responsibilities: Set up injection molding machines and related workstation equipment to support production. Program and configure Ranger robotic systems. Perform mold changes, mold pulls, and ensure all support equipment is properly staged. Perform in-process quality checks each shift to ensure compliance with standards. Troubleshoot molding or assembly issues that impact product quality or efficiency. Log downtime and setup information accurately on production documentation. Assist with material handling (grinders, movement of materials, cleaning, etc.). Communicate clearly with incoming and outgoing shift technicians. Monitor and maintain condition of molds, machines, and support equipment. Accurately complete daily shift reports and communicate plant performance issues. Follow all operational procedures related to setup, operation, and shutdown. Quarantine and report any suspect product to prevent quality escapes.Required Qualifications: Experience setting up injection molding machines. Understanding of injection molding processes and equipment. Ability and willingness to work 3rd shift consistently (including overtime as needed). Must be able to pass a Technical Aptitude Test to demonstrate knowledge of molding equipment and procedures. Must pass a 7-year background check and 5-panel drug screen. Dependable attendance is critical-showing up each day is the key to success in this role.Company & Role Notes: This is a TEMPORARY assignment only, supporting operations until the facility closes in Q3. Production will relocate to St. Mary's, PA; no relocation of this role is expected. Previous successful hires have come from competitors like Metro Plastics, Plastech, Burco Molding, and Progressive Plastics. Site employs around 70 people and offers a casual work environment.
