Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The minimum qualifications required include, but may not be limited to, the following:•At least, 1-year CNC machining (mill and/or lathe) experience, preferred.•Familiar with CNC controller functions, programming, tooling, part holding (fixtures) and machine set-up.•Ability to demonstrate basic turning and milling operations.•Experience with pneumatic hand tools and equipment, preferred.•Basic shop math and trigonometry.•Ability to work in a team environment.•Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.•Ability to convert to metric and standard weights and measures.•Ability to read measuring devices.•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.•Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.•Forklift operation, ability to pass an in-house certification and clean driving record, a plus.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE•High School Diploma and/or GED.•Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
