American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with BLS certification and a valid SC or compact PT license, with experience in outpatient settings accepted from clinical rotations.Job Details•Work primarily in an outpatient PT setting within a hospital,•Opportunity to flex across acute or inpatient rehab for the right candidate,•General schedule is Monday to Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm, with options to discuss alternate shifts,•Caseload typically includes 1 patient per hour, with 9-13 patients per day and 8-12 completed evaluations per week,•Patient population consists mainly of geriatric and orthopedic cases, with occasional sports medicine, neurological, and vestibular diagnoses,•Rare potential to float to acute or inpatient rehab settings if census requires,•Uses Epic for charting,•No regular call requirement; occasional weekend work to support other areas if candidate desires,Job Requirements•Valid SC or Multi State Compact Physical Therapist License required if applicable,•BLS certification required (AHA only),•Experience in outpatient settings required; student clinical rotations accepted for new graduates,•Preferred experience in acute or inpatient rehab settings,•Willingness to float between outpatient sites in Orangeburg/Santee if needed,•Must submit proof of license application if not in hand at offer,•Ability to complete required pre-start modules,Additional Information•Main responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of patient populations, primarily geriatric and orthopedic, in the outpatient setting,•Team-oriented environment with flexibility to support acute and inpatient rehab units as needed,•Steel Grey or Pewter scrubs or business casual attire are required in outpatient; Steel Grey/Pewter in acute/IRF settings,•Free parking is available,•First-time travelers are accepted,•All time-off (RTO) must be requested prior to assignment approval,•Previous permanent or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least one year before returning as a traveler,•Locals within a 60-mile radius may be considered at a reduced rate,•Travelers may be required to participate in emergency response during hurricane season (June-November), especially during peak months of August and September,•Non-billable on-boarding modules average 4 hours and must be completed pre-start,),•hash,:•1679092492203259145,
