Registered Nurses provide direction and oversight to both licensed and non-licensed staff. Creating a customer-friendly environment involves following quality improvement standards and maintaining professionalism. The Registered Nurse provides care in various clinical settings with diverse patient populations. Identifying specific patient needs and implementing person-centered, compassionate care is essential. The Registered Nurse functions as a clinical leader, delegating and coordinating staff assignments while promoting staff development. Continuous review of patient care protocols and standards of practice is necessary.
