American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring at least 2 years of telemetry experience and strong cardiac monitoring skills.Job Details•Position is in the Telemetry unit of an acute care hospital,•Patient population includes telemetry, post-MI, and renal failure cases,•Responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post-hemodialysis care, and use of rapid response teams,•Experience with blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, tracheostomy and wound care required,•Skills with cardiac drips (no titration), PCA, external CPAP/BIPAP, and high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) required,•Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:50 to 07:20,•Float to other units is required,Job Requirements•Active RN license (Compact or MD) required at time of application,•Minimum of 2 years recent telemetry RN experience required,•Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,•Skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response, and management of post-MI and renal failure patients required,•Prefer experience in accessing ports, phlebotomy, PICC line management, ABG interpretation, and starting IVs,•Must provide two supervisor references from the past two years,Additional Information•Must adhere to navy blue or white scrub color policy,•First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position,•Return staff policy requires a minimum 1-year separation from prior employment at this health system,•Expect to complete required modules pre-start and during orientation,•Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of regular schedule,•Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a different rate,),•hash,:•4868289340101966394,
