Duties: The RRT will provide direct patient care services with specific emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices; support requests for continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers; assist in training on use of inhalers; set up patients with DME equipment; work closely with physicians. Skills: RRT - Required1 year hospital or physician office experience - RequiredComputer literacy - Required Adult critical care, pediatric experience Required experience - 3 years Preferred experience - 5 years Required Education:-CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program - Required. Required Certifications & Licensure:-RRT or CRT from NRBC.-New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).-BLS-ACLS Current Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), required.Active license for Respiratory Therapy in New Jersey, required.Basic Life Support certification required.
