Cleans and adjusts surveying instruments. Performs basic drafting work. Typical QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:General knowledge of the use and adjustment of Total station, Robotic total station, GPS, and levels; general knowledge of land survey, nomenclature, and symbols; general knowledge of engineering mathematics; general knowledge of engineering maps and records; ability to perform precise survey work and reduce field notes; ability to understand and work from oral and written instructions and sketches; ability to work out of doors under varying weather conditions; skill in the use of engineering survey instruments. Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and some experience in land survey work.
