This role offers an exciting opportunity for nursing professionals who are enthusiastic about patient-centered care in a supportive team environment. Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an orthopedic and medical surgical setting.- Manage an average patient load with ratios of 6:1.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective treatment plans.- Assist physicians with bedside procedures as needed.- Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech documentation system.- Support the nursing team with the assistance of Patient Care Technicians and Unit Secretaries during day shifts.- Uphold all hospital policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients. Qualifications: - Current RN, LPN, or PCT license.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.- A positive attitude, commitment to teamwork, and a willingness to work hard are essential.- Experience in an inpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory; all levels of experience are welcome to apply. Unit Specifics: - The Orthopedic unit has 30 beds while the Medical Surgical unit has 37 beds.- Floating to inpatient units, CCU, and ED may be required to support patient care. Work Schedule: - Our scheduling is organized in 4-week increments, and full-time staff are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month. Dress Code: - Uniform required: Scrub top and bottoms (no fleece, hoodies, denim, or camo).- Long sleeve shirts are permitted under scrub tops, but shoes must be enclosed with no holes.
