This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and managing the specific needs of oncology and medical-surgical patients. Shift Details: - Type: Night Shift (3x12-Hour)- Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM- Rotating Weekends and Holidays Required Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including those newly diagnosed and patients at the end of life.- Manage medical-surgical patients with conditions such as diabetes management, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, cellulitis, pneumonia, abdominal pain, and foley management.- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, including telemetry interpretation and PCA pump management.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.- Float to various facilities as needed within the healthcare system. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, specifically in an oncology or medical-surgical setting.- Experience with patient ratios of 4-6.- Must have EPIC charting system experience.- BLS certification required; chemo certification not required (will not administer chemo).- Must pass a mandatory EKG exam (Pass/Fail) during the compliance process. Compliance & Requirements: - Candidates must complete a full compliance file by the deadline set prior to the start date.- All candidates must be willing and available for compliance requirements and have a valid nursing license in hand by submission.- Must not have any open issues on a background check.- Must be flexible with scheduling, as the facility has zero tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences.
