***No nights, weekends, holidays*** Sign-on bonus available***Optimal work load of 14-16 patients daily***Come join Tidewater Orthopaedic's team of professionals, were we collaborate with physicians and patients to develop an effective treatment plan that promotes wellness and restoration.Tidewater Orthopaedic Physical Therapy department is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Physical Therapist at our Williamsburg location to treat a full range of pre and post operative orthopaedic diagnoses.Preferred candidate(s) are experienced in the outpatient orthopaedic setting and familiar with compliant billing practices. Candidates can expect a challenging but fulfilling patient mix, treating approx. As a Licensed Therapist with Tidewater Orthopaedics, you can expect to work closely with your patient's referring physician, collaborating on the most optimal treatment plan.Tidewater Orthopaedic offers a generous compensation package including up to 120 Hours of paid time off, company matched retirement plan(s), medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability coverage, life insurance coverage and more.Responsibilities / Accountability:Provide direct patient careCompliant billing practices, adhering to all applicable rules and regulations.Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and TechsImplement and communicating therapy recommendations, plans and goalsCommunicate and document treatment/discharge notes within the expected time-frame and formatAct with professionalism and courtesyAdhere to all practice-specific policies and proceduresMaintain a valid state PT license, CEU's, CPR certification and other credenitaling requirements as needed.Education Level:Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor's degree of an accredited physical therapy curriculumCertification in Physical Therapy and valid state license to practiceValid CPR certificationSkills Required:Time management, effective written and oral communication, ability to work independently or with a team, problem solving, planning, organizing.Physical Demand:Frequent standing, walking and sitting. Ability to pull, lift, carry and push greater than 150lbs. Frequent stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing and balancing. 95% of work will be performed inside with noise and/or vibrations. No extreme heat, cold, wet or humid work environment.
