Permanent Position: Physician - Anesthesiology in Muskegon, MI

Join a professional, confident, and friendly anesthesia team at a state-of-the-art hospital in Muskegon, Michigan a designated Level 2 trauma center. The facility boasts 20 operating rooms, 5 heart and vascular rooms, 6 endoscopy rooms, and 2 c-section suites, offering a complex range of cases including orthopedic, gynecology, ENT, vascular, neurosurgery, and more. Experience working with a supportive team dedicated to improving surgical efficiency and patient care.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical direction over CRNAs while having the opportunity to personally perform anesthesia.
  • Engage in a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedic trauma and elective procedures.
  • Support anesthesia services in radiology and obstetric practices, with ample opportunities for epidural placements.
  • Contribute to the rollout of the Surgical Optimization Service, focusing on patient assessments prior to surgery.
  • Utilize advanced regional techniques for enhanced patient recovery, with proficiency in various peripheral nerve blocks.
  • Participate in a flexible schedule with shared holidays and on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (must achieve Board Certification within 2 years).
  • Interest in full-time or part-time employment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a patient-centered focus.
  • New graduate candidates are encouraged to apply.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Active Michigan Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
  • DEA Registration (or willingness to obtain).
  • ACLS and BLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
