Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position in New York requiring 5 years of recent ED experience, EPIC proficiency, and advanced life support certifications.Job Details•Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting,•Care for a range of emergency and crisis MH patients,•Utilizes EPIC charting system; prior experience required,•Shifts are 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM,•Every other weekend and holiday shifts required,Job Requirements•Active NY RN license required,•Minimum 5 years of current Emergency Dept experience,•Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, BLS,•Proficiency with EPIC EMR required,•Must serve as crisis evaluator for mental health patients in the ED,•Candidates must not reside in: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, or Albany counties,•Candidates employed as staff at this facility within the past year or within the AMC network in the last six months will not be considered,Additional Information•Duties include crisis evaluation for mental health patients in the Emergency Dept,•Testing includes a required ECG exam upon arrival; an 85% score is mandatory to continue assignment,•Facility physical is required prior to start,•Mandatory COVID compliance based on facility credentialing,•Study guide for ECG test will be provided prior to start,•No first-time travelers accepted from restricted counties
