HOLT Manufacturing in Waco, Texas is seeking a CNC Press Break Operator. The CNC Press Break Operator is responsible for operating our 350 Ton and 1000 Ton ACCURPRESS brake machines to shape various types of metal. The hours for this position will be Friday Through Sunday, 3rd Shift 5:00 am to 5:30 pm.Essential Functions:Demonstrates the ability to read drawings and blueprints and program the break to run bend and forming operations while using standard and custom diesChecks overall dimensions using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments to ensure tight tolerances.Compensate for bend allowances for various sheet metal thicknesses.Perform routine maintenance on the machine.Works as a member of the manufacturing team to provide high-quality products that satisfy the customer (internal and external) and achieve manufacturing goalsLearns and performs setup and utilize plasma and oxy CNC cut machines to produce "Burn to Shape" / cut parts, loading component parts to Plasma, Oxy Cut, Shear, Press, and Roll equipmentModels, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and MissionWorks safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Working experience with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operated press brakes and the ability to compensate for bend allowances for various sheet metal thicknesses.Ability to perform routine maintenance on the press brakesAbility to maneuver safely and work underneath equipmentAbility to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 - 4 years of computer operating machinery and manufacturing experience requiredTrained and skilled in the use of micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments to ensure tight tolerancesExperience in operating an automated shear to cut steel sheets and plates preferredExcellent attention to detail and accuracy requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:NoneTravel: Less than 5% travel may be requiredAdditional Requirements:Valid Driver's license requiredAbility to obtain a forklift license.Willingness to learn how to operate our DAVI plate roller and Messer down the draft cut table.
