Dr. Vyas has been practicing medicine in Nacogdoches since 2000 and takes great pride in the roots she has gown in the community. In 2025, she joined Catalyst Physician Group to achieve her mission of advancing patients health through personalized accessible care in and around the Nacogdoches community. JOB SUMMARY As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) working with Dr. Vyas you'll be a vital part of our team helping Nacogdoches thrive by providing direct patient care in our all adult internal medicine practice. We are seeking a team player that has experience working in a fast paced environment and has a passion for patient care for adults of all ages. You will see approx. 15-20 patients per day and have in office support as well as Catalyst support teams including 24/7 care team support, referral coordinators and more. Your schedule will be Mon-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday from 8am-12.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Functions independently to perform a broad range of medical services including, but not limited to the following:Providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of patient care deliveryPatient assessmentAge appropriate history and physicalDiagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditionsOrdering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays relative to a patients specific needsAnnual examsEducating patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choicesDocumenting encounters in the Athena EMRMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Current Texas license and certificationGraduate of an accredited NP/PA programExperience as an NP or PA in an outpatient clinic settingCompetent with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsAbility to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-makingPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:1-3 years related experience preferably in a Primary Care outpatient settingCOMPETITIVE BENEFIT PACKAGE:Compensation commensurate with experienceMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance401K with employer matchHealth Savings Account optionsPaid Holidays and PTO includes CME time offReferral ProgramsShort/Long term disability InsuranceAnnual CME allowance Malpractice cost coveredTX license fee coveredDEA cost coveredIf you have any questions please reach out to Silas Baker directly at 214-964-0225 call/text or apply directly to this posting.
