Utilizes blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished products in accordance with Sundyne Manufacturing Operations Policies, Practices and Procedures, and Quality Management.**Second Shift- 4/10's 3:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday****Shift Differential is $2.20 per hour**Duties and Responsibilities Utilizes safe working habits and is conscientious to not endanger self, others, equipment or property. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner to minimize unsafe conditions.Set up and operate numerous machine tools to precision tolerances from blueprints and sketches. Maintain all process documentationPrimary work will be on a CNC lathe and CNC millMakes, modifies or improvises tooling and gauging to complete assignments. Repairs hardware or machine components per written or verbal instructions and performs precision machining operations to highest quality standardsWorks with a broad range of materials (stainless, hardened steel, exotics)Performs inspection of product using such equipment as micrometers, dial indicators, surface plate and associated accessories, bench comparators, profilometers, optical comparators, etc. as required to assure complianceStrives to maintain high personal productivity level and performs other related duties as assigned as well as training other employees when necessaryMust be able to work independently to meet customer demands and manage workload of departmentAble to learn and apply new information and concepts within the technical areaPerforms complex Technical Assignments requiring analysis of multiple factorsProvide special guidance on more unusual task completions, new skill acquisition and advanced technical training as a recognized Internal Mentor to Lower-Level TechniciansIdentify problems and suggest solutionsQualifications7+ years of experienceHS Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree or Technical Certification is a plusMust have a high degree of mechanical ability and machine expertiseThe ability to read and interpret GD&T, complex engineering drawingsWorking knowledge of shop trigonometryMust have a strong working knowledge of CNC machining including demonstrated working knowledge of G&M codeCross-trained multiple machines#LI-On-siteIf you like growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Compensation DetailsHourly: $30.00 - $38.00Additional Compensation Hourly Rate for this position: $30-38/hr (the rate offered will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this position).Application Deadline:2025-09-16
