Travel RN - Med/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hematology/Oncology Infusion Suite role requiring ONS Chemo/Bio Card certification and recent trauma center experience.Job Details•Position is located in a Hematology/Oncology Infusion suite,•30 bed/chair unit treating approximately 70 patients per day,•Patients receive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other infusion medications,•Shift consists of 5 eight-hour day shifts each week, totaling 40 hours,•Level II Pediatric Trauma Center setting,•Floating may be required between multiple acute care facilities,Job Requirements•Active RN license required and must remain compliant during the entire assignment,•Current ONS Chemo/Bio Card certification required,•BLS certification required,•Recent Level I or comparable Level II Trauma experience within the last two years,•Experience in pediatric hem/onc is preferred but not required,•IV skills and mediport access experience are preferred,Additional Information•Responsibilities include assessment, patient education, side effect management, monitoring and emotional support,•Must not reside within a 75 mile radius of the facility,•Work includes administration of complex therapies and patient care coordination,•No local candidates will be considered,),•hash,:•8521877460644188805,
