Horizons offers extremely competitive benefits, including employee ownership, 401k matching, a quarterly performance bonus plan, and a modified four-day work week called Horizons Fridays.For more details and current job openings, please visit our company website at Overview: The 3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining metal fabrication equipment including laser cutters, punch presses, and die cutters. This role plays a key part in producing precise, high-quality parts used in durable labeling and identification systems.Objectives: Accurately fabricate parts to spec, maintaining first-pass yield standardsComplete job orders efficiently with minimal rework or downtimeCollaborate with teammates to prioritize urgent work and troubleshoot issuesFollow all documented work instructions, safety procedures, and job routersMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspaceResponsibilities: Set up and operate CNC and manual fabrication equipment (laser, punch press, shear, die cutter, etc.)Load/unload sheet materials and manage scrapPerform in-process quality checks using measurement toolsRead and interpret technical drawings and job proofsDocument completion of work and report deviations from specAssist with minor maintenance and troubleshootingSupport other areas as needed during low-volume periodsQualificationsQualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or relevant manufacturing experiencePrior CNC or sheet metal fabrication experience preferredAbility to read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring toolsStrong mechanical aptitude and commitment to qualityExcellent reliability and teamworkWillingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processesPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout an 8-hour shiftCapable of lifting up to 50 lbsManual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for machine operationTolerance to work in environments with moderate noiseHorizons Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran.
