Position: RN - NICULocation: Brooklyn, NYPay Rate: $64/hrSchedule: NIGHTS - 3 DAYS PER WEEK AND EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED - FLOATING TO MOTHER BABY/PICU REQUIREDDuties:-Neonatal intensive care RNs provide critical care to premature and sick newborns.-Utilize the nursing process in the provision of direct patient care.-Responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating all care provided to assigned patients.-Ensures a newborn's critical care treatment is secure.-Delivery of care is based on the standards of care and practices established by the Department of Nursing and other policies and procedures (hospital, nursing, multidisciplinary).-Diagnose and treat human responses to actual and potential health problems through such services as case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care supportive or to restorative of life and well-being.-Supervise patient care provided by licensed practical nurses (LPNs), registered nurses on permit (RNP), nursing attendants, technicians, and supplemental staff.-Assess the immediate and continuing care needs of the patient and parent(s).Requirements:-1+ year in emergency or critical care setting.-1+ year in pediatric setting.- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.- Master's Degree in Nursing, preferred.- Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State-NRP -ACLS -BLS -PALS Preferred
