American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Antepartum unit, requiring at least 2 years of experience and advanced certifications.Job Details•Work in a high-risk Antepartum hospital unit caring for patients from 6 to 41 weeks gestation,•Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30,•Floating required to the Postpartum unit and potentially other areas within the state,•No newborns on the unit; postpartum mothers whose babies are in NICU are present,•Support procedures include bedside amnio or sterile speculum exams, PCA pumps, PICC/central lines, and advanced medication administration,•Common patient conditions include preterm labor, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, twins, substance use disorder, and pregnancy loss,•Epic EMR experience required,Job Requirements•Active RN license for WA or compact state, currently in hand,•Minimum 2 years recent Antepartum nursing experience required,•Advanced AWHONN, BLS, and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred,•Experience with C-section circulation required,•IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line maintenance, and management of magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and anticoagulant medications required,•Ability to float as needed between units and facilities within the state,Additional Information•Care responsibilities include monitoring high-risk pregnancies and supporting fetal procedures,•Must provide care for patients experiencing fetal demise, pregnancy loss, and postpartum mothers with babies in NICU,•First-time travelers are welcome to apply,•Scrubs of any color allowed on Antepartum and Postpartum units; scrubs provided when floated to L&D,•Must provide at least two recent supervisory references from similar settings,•RTO must be requested up front; post-submittal time-off requests may not be accommodated,•Prior perm staff must be separated from Providence Swedish for at least 3 months before working as a traveler,•Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel status,•Reliable transportation required; travel pairs must have separate vehicles,•All compliance and onboarding must be completed promptly after offer,•Annual and initial training modules required prior to starting,),•hash,:•9329105528828227747,
