Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of cutting-edge plant controls and automation systems.
- Ensure smooth operations by providing expert technical support for controls and automation systems.
- Architect and specify high-performance plant control systems, prioritizing efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with external controls engineering partners to meet and exceed project objectives.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in controls and automation engineering, preferably in the food, chemical, or similar manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming and advanced HMI development, such as Wonderware.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles, including Archestra.
- Experience in designing process control panels for user interfaces and specifications.
- Background in working within FDA-regulated facilities, clean environments, and CIP cleaning systems.
- Expertise in Wonderware MES, .NET programming, SQL databases, and Ethernet/IP communication.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, typically less than 25% of the time.
