Job Description – Pastry Apprentice
nThe Pastry Apprentice is responsible for the following:
nOverall Execution of the Bakery items, Quality of the baked goods, Preparation amp; Presentation and Flavor of the Bakery Foods, and promoting a happy, healthy cohesive and Professional work environment.
nThe Pastry Apprentice position is eligible to enter the ACF Pastry Certification Program. This program will give the apprentice the ability to earn a certificate signifying that that he/ she is proficient in the major areas of bakery production. This online program requires a 15 month commitment.
na) Artisan Breads
nb) Laminated doughs for Croissant
nc) Sauces and compotes
nd) Layer cakes
ne) Cheesecakes and Tarts and Pies
nf) Cookies and Brownies
ng) Basic Sanitation
nPastry Apprentice held accountable to:
na) Daily Production List is organized, executed, and Followed through.
nb) Daily Cleaning expectations and end of Shift Closeout.
nCleanliness
na) Team Members are held accountable to daily cleaning and end of shift Check out process.
nb) Kitchen Closing list has been completed
nc) Monthly deep cleaning has been organized, delegated, and followed through.
nd) Team Members are following ServeSafe and Health Department Standards.
nPromoting a Happy, Healthy, Cohesive and Professional work environment.
