The Gloucester Marine Terminal is operated by Gloucester Terminals LLC and offers stevedoring and break bulk services. The terminal, located in the Port of Philadelphia has direct access to highways as well as three rail lines that transit across the United States and Canada, providing unrivaled turnaround times for our partners.
Contribute to overall terminal operations by inspecting and maintaining Company equipment and vehicles.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks to maintain vehicle functional condition:
- Inspecting and testing equipment;
- Complete preventative maintenance, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, replacing filters, etc.;
- Repairing engine failures;
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions;
- Replacing parts and components;
- Listening to and understanding operator complaints
- Verify vehicle capability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
- Maintain equipment records by documenting service and repairs.
- Possess a basic knowledge of parts and parts ordering.
- Advance career knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, etc.
- Upkeep vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Utilize safe working practices and obey all company safety policies.
- Able to work satellite sites no further than 10 miles travel distance.

- Must possess a valid TWIC card
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- 2+ years automotive or equipment mechanic experience OR Technical School diploma
