HEMATOPATHOLOGIST/CLINICAL RESEARCHER
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center invites applications for a Board Certified/Eligible Hematopathologist. Applicants must be eligible for a California medical license and be Board Certified/Eligible in AP/CP or CP. The Department consists of divisions of Anatomic, Clinical, Translational and Experimental Pathology, has 55 faculty, and oversees a clinical operation of over 8 million laboratory tests and approximately 70,000 surgical pathology cases. Pathology Laboratory operates with first-class facilities, providing services with 10-color flow cytometers, coagulation, molecular with comprehensive NGS panels and cytogenetic laboratories. There are 25 residents and fellows including hematopathology, surgical, and clinical pathology fellowship positions.

Beverly Pathology is an independently contracted private pathology Group, in the Cedars-Sinai Health System's Foundation, providing exclusive Pathology services to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Beverly Pathology will recruit the successful candidate to join our experienced team and will be required to sign out a broad array of hematopathology cases including bone marrows, lymph nodes, flow cytometry, and peripheral blood smears. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center faculty are strongly committed to graduate medical education and research. Faculty members also participate broadly in both departmental/institutional committees as well as tumor board presentations. The successful candidate should possess strong advanced diagnostic skills with subspecialty training or experience in Hematopathology. The position will provide approximately 50% effort dedicated to research and scholarship activities. Research space and start-up support will be provided, but it is expected that extramural funding will be obtained to support the effort and research activities after an initial start-up period.
Eligibility for an academic appointment in the Cedars-Sinai Health System Professorial Program is required.
