Description
The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations is a key member of the Advancement Office, who strengthens alumni engagement through career networking, volunteerism, and meaningful connection to the School. This role is ideal for a motivated, goal-driven professional who is passionate about relationship-building. Reporting to the Director of Alumni Relations, the Assistant Director leads a variety of initiatives aimed at deepening alumni engagement and increasing alumni participation in programs that support the School's mission. This is a full-time, year-round position with full benefits.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Lead alumni mentoring and professional networking programs, including oversight of an online engagement platform.
• Plan and execute in person and virtual career networking events featuring alumni across various industries.
• Oversee the Alumni Admission Volunteer program in partnership with the Admission Office; recruit, train, and manage volunteers.
• Manage engagement for multiple Reunion classes, including recruiting and engaging class volunteers, working with gift officers on class gifts, and assisting in the overall planning of Reunion activities.
• Lead the College Connect Program, pairing upper-form students with alumni at target colleges to provide real-world insight into college life and culture.
• Prepare event invitations, briefings, and related communications in partnership with Advancement Communications.
• Collaborate and staff alumni and parent programming to deepen community connections.
• Contribute to overall Alumni Relations efforts and perform additional duties as needed.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree
Prior experience :
2-5 years experience in program management and event planning, preferably in an educational or nonprofit context

• Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends to support alumni events on and off campus.
