The Round Rock Express, AAA Affiliate of the Texas Rangers, owned and operated by Ryan-Sanders Baseball are seeking an experienced sales and service professional to help grow the best fan base in Minor League Baseball! Located in one of the fastest growing markets in the country, Round Rock is an ideal home for a passionate, entrepreneurial individual.
Reporting to the Director of Ticket Sales, the Account Executive's responsibilities include the sales of group ticket packages, hospitality areas, full and partial season ticket plans. The individual in this position will be expected not only to be an exceptional sales person, but also to deliver world class customer service to all clients and prospects to ensure fan retention.
Responsibilities
- Represents the organization with the utmost professionalism in the community
- Responsible for prospecting, and selling group, hospitality and season ticket packages for all baseball events through outbound calls or appointments
- Responsible for renewing all group, hospitality and season ticket clients
- Develop and consistently grow a database comprised of businesses, and individual prospects through various professional prospecting and networking efforts throughout the community
- Works closely with all sales and marketing departments to develop compelling sales programs and components focused on long-term business sustainability
- Maintain a database of contacts and sales progression using assigned CRM
- Meet and/or exceed personal sales goals while providing the utmost customer service
- Meet and/or exceed daily and weekly outbound call/appointment minimums
- Embrace the team first environment to achieve organizational sales goals and vision
- Service clients and prospects at all home games and other events as needed for purpose of maximizing sales opportunities
- A minimum bachelor's degree in related discipline
- At least one (1) year of significant OUTBOUND sales experience, preferably in a professional sports environment
- Must have superior interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and project a leadership role during events and throughout projects
- Outgoing and personable, energetic and customer-service minded attitude
- Highly-motivated with a desire to be successful
- Ability to work flexible and extraordinarily demanding hours including nights and weekends
