Automotive Apprentice Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry and eager to learn hands-on skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. The successful candidate will assist in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while gaining practical experience toward becoming a certified automotive technician.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery checks, and fluid top-ups.
• Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and workshop procedures.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Enrollment in or completion of an automotive technology program (preferred).
• Strong interest in automotive repair and technology.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced garage environment.
