Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robotic solutions for construction projects, with a focus on automotive or aerospace applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics systems into construction processes.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to ensure seamless communication between robotic components and other equipment.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical expertise in the selection of robotic hardware and software.
- Optimize robotic processes for efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics technology.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior robotics engineers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 plus years of experience in robotics engineering, with a focus on automotive or aerospace applications.
- Cut, weld and bevel 4-12" carbon piping.
- Automation Pipe Spool experience
- Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with ABB or Mitsubishi robotics systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing robotics solutions in industrial settings.
