nPosition Summary:
nAs supervised and delegated by a physician, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
nReports to: Manager
nFLSA: Non-exempt
nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
nProvides direct and individualized care to clinic patients.
nPerforms basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
nMaintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
nPerforms administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
nMinimum Qualifications:* Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent*
nRequired Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
nRequired Skills Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
nMinimum Work Experience 1 year related experience (Preferred) 1 year clinic experience (Preferred)
