Our heavy mobile equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics and tight tolerance metal machined component and assemblies industry client is hiring a Quality Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer
- Conduct internal quality audits
- Facilitate the Part Submission Warrant documentation
- Assist with the documentation of the DFMEA's, PFMEA's and Quality Control Plans
- Facilitate 8D, 5 Whys, 4M, ISIR, etc. documentation
- Facilitate Material Review Board team audits
- Be instrumental in the use and application of metrology
- Oversee inspection functions and be involved with product launches, changes and corrective actions
Requirements of the Quality Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline is required
- One or more years in quality engineering in a metal forming environment, ideally CNC machined components and/or assemblies, hydraulics or pneumatics as well as an understanding of quality standards specific to metal, defense, heavy mobile equipment and aerospace CNC machined components
- Use MS Office including Excel and Word
- Some limited travel may be required including for supplier audits

Compensation for the Quality Engineer
The annual starting salary for this position ranges from $70,000 per year to $105,000 per year based on experience
