nExpeditor Description
nThe expeditor creates a seamless flow between the BOH and FOH. This person will manage the pace of dishes coming from the kitchen, finalizing orders, double checking order accuracy, and communicating with the cashier to prepare for orders to be picked up.
nExpeditor Responsibilities
nServe as the liaison between the FOH and BOH staff for food orders
nReview orders, add finishing touches, grab cold items, side items, or desserts to finalize orders
nDouble check orders to ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets preparation standards Handle quality checks on plates before dishes leave the expo area
nTrack timing on all tickets and manage allergy tickets
nKeep kitchen station clean and tidy
nHelp cashier as needed with customer ordering needs
nExpeditor Cook Skills and Qualifications
n1+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
nAbility to work as part of a team
nStrong attention to detail
nStrong organization and active listening skills
nExceptional time management skills and ability to multi-task
nExpeditor Physical Requirements and Other Requirements
nAbility to stand and walk for long periods of time
nAbility to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
nMust be able to work nights and weekends
