nnRESPONSIBILITIES
nYou’ll serve as a critical link between engineering and manufacturing—working in the Die design and development process, driving process improvements, supporting new product trials and launches, and helping ensure that production hits world-class standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

- Die & Process Development n
- n
- Be involved in the Die deisgns and improvments for customers and new products. n
- Lead trials for new extrusion dies and sizers. n
- Build repeatable, production-ready processes. n
- Collaborate with Engineering to finalize SOPs. n
n - Performance & Troubleshooting n
- n
- Monitor production metrics (speed, scrap, efficiency) and provide real-time support. n
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement using Lean principles. n
- Work to determine root cause analysys of process issues with a coordinated effort of all department team leaders. n
n - Tooling & Equipment Management n
- n
- Use Limble to manage die repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. n
- Evaluate die inventory insuring that equipment is production-ready by conducting audits and insuring proper calibration of equipment to meet Die specifications. n
n - Cross-Functional Impact n

- Partner with Quality, Sales, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet customer demands and streamline operations. n
- Provide support on process setups and approvals for difficult parts. n

NEEDED QUALIFICATIONS
n- n
- 10+ years of experience in plastic injection manufacturing engineering. n
- Die design experience or direct involvement in tooling design/improvement—this role will be actively involved in new die development and optimization n
- A strong background in root cause analysis , coordinating with Operators, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and the Machine Shop to solve process issues n
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing , tooling innovation, and process redesign to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and optimize labor utilization n
- Ability to support and guide operators during complex setups and approve first-off parts before full production release n
- A track record of identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing setting n
- Experience minimizing MMDRs, RMAs, and customer complaints through proactive problem-solving and team collaboration n
- Excellent cross-functional coordination skills to align with Sales and Production Control for timely sample fulfillment and new process evaluations n
- Strong sense of ownership in maintaining tooling—performing regular equipment/tool audits and ensuring calibration standards are met n
