Save Job

We are launching people to the Moon and Mars. If you want to be part of this amazing mission and enjoy working in a great team environment, we would love to have you as part of our team that is making history, today. It takes big ideas and determination to take NASA's vision and make it reality. That's what we do every day.

nn

The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.

nn

The Launch Control Systems team is responsible for designing, building and testing the software, hardware and networking systems that will be used to launch the next generation rocket (Space Launch System) for NASA. As part of the Launch Control System Team, you will be responsible for taking conceptual ideas and making them a reality.

nn

The System Engineer / Thread Lead is the process owner for Software and Hardware development. You will be the driving force for turning concepts and ideas into tangible working products. The successful candidate will be able to lead the team through the multiple phases of the product delivery life cycle; requirements definition, conceptual designs, design reviews, product development, testing and troubleshooting, product and document delivery. The ability to solve problems, build on new ideas, and assemble seemingly incongruent information into an actionable plan will be key traits to bring the team to repeatable, successful solutions
