We are seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to lead capital improvement initiatives across our lime and limestone production facilities in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri. This full-time role is ideal for a highly experienced project engineer with a strong background in the industrial minerals industry (preferably cement or lime), specializing in large-scale equipment installations and plant upgrades.

This position will require travel to active project sites.nnn

nCapital Project Management: nn

- Develop and execute capital projects across three lime plants (OK, TX, AR) and two limestone plants (MO, OK), including project scoping, design, budgeting, execution, and close-out. n
- Oversee new equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades, and process system redesigns to ensure alignment with plant goals and regulatory standards. n
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, cost estimates, resource allocation, and contingency planning. n

- Communicate proactively with company and plant leadership via formal presentations, daily email updates, weekly/monthly meetings, and capital budgeting sessions. n
- Lead project planning meetings with cross-functional teams to align timelines, resources, and goals. n
- Coordinate with vendors, engineering consultants, and construction contractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services. n

- Source, manage and evaluate suppliers and service providers for equipment, materials, and installation services. n
- Collaborate with Plant Maintenance Teams to ensure proper integration of new systems and smooth transitions during equipment upgrades. n
- n
- Apply engineering knowledge to drive improvements in plant performance, safety, reliability, and energy efficiency. n
- Provide technical input on process optimization projects and integrate them into broader capital improvement plans. n
- Ensure all engineered solutions are practical, cost-effective, and scalable. n

- Participate in root cause failure analyses and corrective action planning alongside plant operations and maintenance leadership. n
- Recommend and implement engineering solutions based on sound analysis and industry best practices. n
- n
- Work performed in both office and industrial environments, including time on-site at lime and limestone production facilities. n
- Frequent travel to plant sites (approximately 50% of the time). n
- Exposure to high temperatures, dust, heavy equipment, and loud noise while on-site. n
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and safely access equipment platforms, ladders, and confined spaces. n

- Monday to Friday n
- Occasional evening or weekend work as needed during project milestones or outages n
- Travel required to facilities in OK, TX, AR, and MO n
- n
- Proven experience with the design and execution of capital projects in industrial manufacturing environments n
- Strong understanding of heavy industrial equipment, including kilns, crushers, conveyors, pumps, dust collection, and material handling systems n
- Excellent project management, vendor negotiation, and cost control skills n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in technical presentations and project reporting n
- Proficiency in engineering software, AutoCAD, and MS Project or similar scheduling tools preferred n
