We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting cutting-edge energy transition projects. In this role, you’ll collaborate with global Transmission & Distribution (T&D) teams, develop design deliverables for utility upgrades, and interface with utility and developer clients. You will be instrumental in ensuring quality engineering solutions for greenfield and brownfield projects.nDetails:nnPay: $64-$65/hournLocation: Fully remote, anywhere in the U.S.nTerm: Contract through September 2025 (likely to extend)nnResponsibilities:nnDevelop detailed engineering deliverables, including bills of materials, stringing charts, and structure drawings.nPerform QA/QC for design calculations and ensure compliance with NESC, ASCE, and RUS standards.nUse tools like PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Tower; familiarity with LPile and MFAD is preferred.nMentor team members and collaborate on high-quality deliverables for global clients.nInterface directly with clients, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.nnRequirements:nnEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Power Engineering.nExperience: 8+ years of direct overhead transmission line design experience.nPreferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).nSkills: Proficiency in PLS software, AutoCAD, and strong communication abilities.nnThis position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the energy sector while working remotely.
