Our client is seeking a dynamic Quality Safety Specialist/Officer to join their team in Norcross, GA. With a focus on the beverage industry and manufacturing, they are a leader in providing innovative solutions. This role is crucial in supporting the Safety Department, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across operations.
What You Get to Do:
- Develop and implement safety policies and practices, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate and support Health and Safety activities for Field Service Engineers.
- Oversee Security Travel Management for all regional interventions.
- Conduct audits, track incidents, and lead corrective action plans for continuous improvement.
- Drive communications and initiatives related to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Security (QHSE&S).
- Provide regular reporting for status and escalate critical risk observations.
- Lead safety committee meetings and facilitate safety training programs for OSHA compliance.
- Inspect workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field (new graduates with relevant degrees are welcome to apply).
- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Federal OSHA standards in General Industry preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds will also be considered.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and related procedures.
- Strong communication skills for presenting and explaining health and safety topics.
- Availability to travel up to 60% in the USA
