Quality/ENVIROMENTAL Safety Specialist/Officer--Manufacturing Industry
Location: Norcross, GA
Salary: $75 - $100,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: Hybrid after 90 days with travel to job sites
Our client is seeking a dynamic Quality Safety Specialist/Officer to join their team in Norcross, GA. With a focus on the beverage industry and manufacturing, they are a leader in providing innovative solutions. This role is crucial in supporting the Safety Department, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across operations.
What You Get to Do:
  • Develop and implement safety policies and practices, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate and support Health and Safety activities for Field Service Engineers.
  • Oversee Security Travel Management for all regional interventions.
  • Conduct audits, track incidents, and lead corrective action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Drive communications and initiatives related to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Security (QHSE&S).
  • Provide regular reporting for status and escalate critical risk observations.
  • Lead safety committee meetings and facilitate safety training programs for OSHA compliance.
  • Inspect workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field (new graduates with relevant degrees are welcome to apply).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Federal OSHA standards in General Industry preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and related procedures.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting and explaining health and safety topics.
  • Availability to travel up to 60% in the USA
