nSummary:
nThe Service Advisor acts as liaison for Service Technicians and customers. Our associates are our most valuable resource and growth is encouraged through diligence, teamwork & creativity. In this position, you’ll be able to get out from behind the desk and play an active role in providing our customers with great customer relations. As a Service Advisor you would explain the Technician’s recommendations and suggest services to keep the customer’s vehicle in top condition.
nPay Scale Components:
nThe Advisor Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $16.50 The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or dollar amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
nOur service advisors earn an average of $10,000 per month depending upon their sales performance.

nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
nServe as the liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
nPrepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required, entering RO into service database system.
nProvide the client with an accurate estimate of repair or maintenance cost, and/or a minimal diagnostic fee with explanation of associated cost, detailing problems and pertinent information, and secure client authorization of repair or service.
nPerform a thorough redelivery process, ensuring all client needs have been met, client understands all services performed, and answer any questions that may arise
nPerform customer service duties such as answer phones, scheduling appointments (where needed), and calling customers to update them on repair status, or to follow up after repairs are completed
nDevelop rapport with clients leading to lasting relationships.
nObtain payment for repair orders daily and close out repair orders.
nExpectations:
nMust have 1+ year Service Advisor experience in automotive field.
nMeet and exceed manufacturer CSI requirements.
nMust have customer service experience.
nStrong character and work ethic
nStrong listening and verbal communication skills
nStrong focus and desire to achieve sales goals.
nDependable, responsible Team Player with a positive attitude
nSelf-starter with ability to work well as part of a team or independently.
