Supplier Quality Engineer

Now Hiring: Quality Engineer – Aerospace | North of Boston

We’re working with an established aerospace manufacturer north of Boston that is actively seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of quality processes and help drive continuous improvement across the production floor.

What You’ll Do:

  Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to industry and customer-specific quality standards including AS9100C and ISO9001.

  Lead Process Improvements: Apply root cause analysis tools such as 8D and 5 Whys to improve product and process quality.

  n
n
• n

  Conduct Inspections: Develop and carry out inspections, testing, and statistical analyses to ensure all products meet strict quality standards.

  n

• n

  Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to troubleshoot issues and support new product launches.

  n

• n

  Manage Suppliers: Audit and evaluate supplier performance, working closely with vendors to resolve issues and improve quality.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain Records: Prepare detailed reports and maintain documentation to support internal quality systems and external audits.

n

What We’re Looking For:

• n

  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field

  n
n
• n

  2–3 years of experience in quality engineering, ideally within aerospace manufacturing

  n
n
• n

  Hands-on experience with CMMs and quality tools

  n
n
• n

  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  n
n
• n

  Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards

  n
n
