NOW HIRING:

n

Line Cooks – for fast-paced kitchen

n

Pay: $15-$18/ hour depending on experience

n

Full Time & Part Time

n

Responsibilities:

n

Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh

n

Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients

n

Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods

n

Present, garnish and arrange final dishes

n

Occasionally serve/run food

n

Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes

n

Handle and store ingredients and food

n

Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

n

Ensure stations are prepped, stocked and ready for service

n

Turn over clean and restocked station for next shift

n

Standard cleaning of equipment, dishes and facilities

n

Being a team player and helping others

n

Skills:

n

Prep and cook in a fast paced restaurant kitchen

n

Works well independently and with a team

n

Familiar with kitchen sanitation measures and safety regulations

n

Knows how to cook on and operate flat tops, burners, ovens, and fryers

n

Multi-tasking

n

Can lift and move boxes/objects 50lbs

n

Maintains a positive attitude throughout the shift no matter how busy it gets

n

Qualifications:

n

Minimum 6 months restaurant kitchen prep experience (required).

n

Minimum 1 year restaurant kitchen cooking and/or prep experience (preferred).

n

Reliable transportation (required)

n

ServSafe Food Handler or willing to get it (required)

n

ServeSafe Manager Certification or willing to get it (desired).

n
