nNOW HIRING:
nLine Cooks – for fast-paced kitchen
nPay: $15-$18/ hour depending on experience
nFull Time & Part Time
nResponsibilities:
nEnsure ingredients and final products are fresh
nFollow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
nBake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
nPresent, garnish and arrange final dishes
nOccasionally serve/run food
nMaintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
nHandle and store ingredients and food
nMaintain food safety and sanitation standards
nEnsure stations are prepped, stocked and ready for service
nTurn over clean and restocked station for next shift
nStandard cleaning of equipment, dishes and facilities
nBeing a team player and helping others
nSkills:
nPrep and cook in a fast paced restaurant kitchen
nWorks well independently and with a team
nFamiliar with kitchen sanitation measures and safety regulations
nKnows how to cook on and operate flat tops, burners, ovens, and fryers
nMulti-tasking
nCan lift and move boxes/objects 50lbs
nMaintains a positive attitude throughout the shift no matter how busy it gets
nQualifications:
nMinimum 6 months restaurant kitchen prep experience (required).
nMinimum 1 year restaurant kitchen cooking and/or prep experience (preferred).
nReliable transportation (required)
nServSafe Food Handler or willing to get it (required)
nServeSafe Manager Certification or willing to get it (desired).
