We’re seeking a mid-level site/civil engineer to join our growing group, roll up their sleeves, and get to work on a variety of civil/environmental engineering and infrastructure development projects.Join Ayres, and you’ll be working alongside a collaborative professional team focused on supporting design efforts for various government and private client projects. Your work will involve general site civil engineering, stormwater management, and water/wastewater infrastructure development. nOn a given day, you’ll:

Direct and/or design/develop plans, prepare engineering documents in accordance with the latest prevailing codes.

Prepare and monitor project budget and be responsible for project schedules and the timely completion of projects.

Prepare permit applications and submittals.
n n - n
Participate in presentations, interviews, and project/client meetings.
n n - n
Serve as a designated client contact.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
n n - n
Florida Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within 1 year.
n n - n
5-15 years of progressive experience designing/coordinating civil engineering projects.
n n - n
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office.
n n - n
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
n n - n
Ability to work independently and with other team members in multiple offices.
n n - n
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
n n - n
Knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and standards.
n n
