Responsibilities
- Design and calculate HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for a variety of building types.
- Generate AutoCAD and Revit files and construction documents for MEP engineering needs.
- Manage small and large projects, establish schedules, allocate resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain and organize mechanical engineering-related documents, schedules, and general project documentation.
- Review mechanical design submittals and conduct field visits to resolve issues, conflicts, or questions.
- Generate and present project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build relationships to develop new business with existing and potential clients.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- At least 6 years of relevant HVAC and/or plumbing design and project management experience.
- Proficiency in Revit (preferred) and AutoCAD.
- Experience designing mechanical systems for commercial offices, multifamily housing, K-12 schools, municipal buildings, and healthcare facilities.
- U.S. citizenship, Green Card, or TN visa status.
- Experience with HVAC modeling tools such as TRACE700, CHVAC7.0, and/or AIRMaster.
- Advanced Revit skills (AutoCAD is less desirable).
- Project management experience.
- Work Environment: Hybrid, up to two days per week remote.
