nAviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS) is seeking a talented Electrical or Computer Engineer to join our diverse team, in Huntsville, AL., to create unique solutions for complex problems. AMS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering and scientific solutions ranging from air and missile defense technologies, command and control, radar systems, seekers, modeling & simulation, and prototype hardware development and testing.
nPosition Description:
nThe engineer in this role will perform the following:

develop radar models and simulation environments to match threat radar intelligence assessments, including waveform scheduling, correlation/tracking, and signal processing.
n n - n
They will also write technical briefings, design documentation, and test plans as needed to support software development efforts. *
n n
*Development efforts include modeling all aspects of radar sensors and functionality to include performance timeline, weapons envelope, clutter mitigation, EA/EP, etc. Radar/weapons systems analysis includes probability of detection, waveform analysis, probability of intercept, area of responsibility, etc.

- Algorithm development includes detection processes, waveform selection, signal processing, clutter and EA mitigation, adaptive beamforming, target identification, etc. n
RF hardware includes transmitters, exciters, antennas, multi-channel and high-bandwidth receivers, SOTA processors, RF lab equipment development/integration, along with software development and test.

Strong software development skills in object-oriented programming principles.

Proficient in C++

Git experience preferred.

Experience working within Agile development processes preferred.

Candidate must be able to comfortably interact with and present to customers, coworkers and management on a regular basis.

Required Education and Experience:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited university.

A minimum of 10 years of applicable experience.
